This is a list I've been compiling for useful addons for raiding and for general usage. You can download them free from curse.com.

Ackis Recipe List:
Want to collect all the patterns, recipes or other profession skills? use thing to locate them!
AVR:
Allows custom raid scenes that use 3D polygons for easy raiding.
AVRE:
Premade scenes for AVR that are made for Icecrown Raid bosses, showing ranges and other things for boss fights.
Bartender4:
Customizable and moveable bars that you can change and move where ever you want!
Bejeweled:
That classic game we all like!
Chatter:
A custom chat bar that you can adjust the size, style and even have it save your chats!
Classtimer:
Timers for Buffs, DOTs, CC effects, etc..
Recount:
Records Damage and Healing for Graph Based Display.
Rogue Power Bars:
Displays statusbars with time left on rogue abilities
Sexymap:
Spice up ye olde minimap with some sexytime options.
Skada Damage Meters:
Modular damage meter.
Visualheal:
Visualises healing done by you and your party/raid members.
Atlasloot Enhanced:

Raid Plus is an addon for holy paladins that are using Blizzard's standard raid UI. It adds extra buff icons for maintained Sacred Shield and Beacon of Light buffs in the top right corner of all raid frame player buttons.

Displays timers and warnings of raid bosses spells and abilities.
Everyquest:
Quest History tracker and shows lists of quests in each category.
