Starbucks Introduces Via, the Next Step in Laziness.

So Starbucks introduced its newest product to hit America's shelves, Via, the new insta-coffee from the Starbucks Corperation is a huge leap of faith on the people. Will the American people take up this new laziness factor of coffee on the go? I don't doubt it, since not only does starbucks lead the coffee market in many parts of the United States, but people are always looking for a shortcut for everything, including coffee. "Based on the success we've had, we feel strongly that we're sitting on a very big opportunity," said Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz said during a conference call with journalists. "What's going to sell Via at the end of the day is that (it) delivers in the cup. Most people will not be able to tell the difference." (Read More here.)

Bring on the lazy. Hey, if any of you saw the season premier of Family Guy this past week then you know how awesomely amazing it was. it was "the road to multiverse," feel free to watch a funny clip from the show HERE!

well, see you later!

Onyxia and Brewfest! 3.2.2 is here!

After years of lurking in her lair, battling brave adventurers who travelled from afar, Onyxia has been reborn -- and she’s stronger than ever before. To commemorate the upcoming fifth anniversary of World of Warcraft, the classic Onyxia raid encounter has been updated in the newly released patch 3.2.2."

Yes, that is right World of Warcraft fans, Onyxia is back and she is ready to deep breath more! this past week have brought up many new features and changed some aspects of the game. not only is Onyxia back in the game, but its time for brewfest again! the yearly event of dwarf'n brew-drinking and song singing is back, and so is the free booze. if your interested in that head over to your local city to be directed to the event. anyway, time to post what I feel are the most important class changes for this patch, and if you disagree, feel free to comment and tell me what you think each class and spec's most important change was!

(for the list of all the changes check out the entire patch notes from the World of Warcraft home page: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/)

Death Knight:
Blood: Heart Strike: Secondary targets of Heart Strike now take half as much damage. (Nerf!)

Frost: Unbreakable Armor: Cooldown reduced to 1 minute and changed back to granting 25% additional armor while active instead of flat damage reduction based on armor. The amount of strength granted has been reduced to 10%. (Buff!)

Unholy: Bone Shield: This ability now has 3 charges instead of 4. Cooldown reduced to 1 minute. (Buff/Nerf?)

Druid:
Balance: Moonkin Form: This form now also reduces the damage the druid takes while stunned by 15%. (Buff!)

Feral Combat: Predatory Strikes: This talent now also causes the druid's finishing moves to provide a 7/13/20% chance per combo point to make the next Nature spell with a cast time below 10 seconds instant cast. (PvP Buff! Instant heals anyone?)

     Restoration: Nothing? Boo!

Hunter:
Beast Mastery: The Beast Within: The duration of this talent has been reduced to 10 seconds. In addition, hunters with this talent will do 10% additional damage at all times. (Buff!)

Marksmen and Survival: No love here.

Mage:
Arcane: Missile Barrage: The effect from triggering this talent now removes the mana cost of Arcane Missiles. In addition, the chance for Arcane Blast to trigger this talent is now 8/16/24/32/40%. All other listed spells continue to have a 4/8/12/16/20% chance to trigger it. This talent no longer has a chance to be triggered when spells miss. (Buff!)

Fire: Combustion: This talent now also increases the critical strike damage bonus of Fire spells by 50% while it is active. In addition, Living Bomb periodic ticks will no longer interact with the count or the charges on the talent. (Buff!)

     Frost: No love.

Paladin:
Protection: Blessing of Sanctuary: This blessing now grants 10% strength in addition to its current effects. Also, the strength and stamina bonuses from this blessing will no longer be lost when Blessing of Kings is removed. (Buff!)

Retribution: Seal of Command: This ability now chains to strike up to 2 additional targets when it is triggered by an attack that can only strike a single target. (OMG Buff!)

     Holy: Nothing Changed

Priest:
Shadow: Twisted Faith now grants spell power equal to 4/8/12/16/20% of spirit, up from 2/4/6/8/10%. (Buff!)

     Holy and Discipline: Nada.

Rogue:
Assassination: Master Poisoner: No longer increases the Deadly Poison application rate following a successful Envenom and instead now provides a 33/66/100% chance of preventing Envenom from consuming Deadly Poison. (So-so)

Combat: Throwing Specialization: This talent no longer causes Fan of Knives to interrupt spellcasting. (Nerf!)

Subtly: Honor Among Thieves: A 1-second cooldown is now enforced on how often a rogue can gain combo points from his party via this talent. (Needed, but a Nerf)

Shaman:
Elemental Combat: Lava Burst: This ability no longer ever consumes a Flame Shock debuff off of the target.(Free Glyph spot anyone? Buff!)

Enhancement: Earthen Power: No longer causes Earthbind to pulse a persistent snare immunity aura. It does still remove snares from allies as an instant pulse, but there is no lingering immunity. Earthen Power now also brings Earth Shock's melee attack speed reduction up to -15%/-20% (with 1 or 2 points in it, respectively). (PvP Nerf)

     Restoration: Nope

Warrior:
Arms: Sword Specialization: Now has a 2/4/6/8/10% chance to proc an extra attack, up from 1/2/3/4/5%.(Buff!)

Protection: Critical Block: This talent now grants a 20/40/60% chance to block double the normal amount instead of 10/20/30%.(Buff!)

     Fury: Sorry all, nothing.

Phew, finally a moment to breath, well this is the sum up that i have for the new patch. Onyxia is out and its time to head down the the Wyrmbog and check her out. See you in Mudsprocket!

Until next time, with love,

Andrew

Defying Gravity and Hulu

So in my past month or so of not blogging, I've gotten stuck on Hulu.com watching T.V. my most recent enjoyment is the show Defying Gravity, that ABC's Network has been playing for about eight weeks now, each show airing on sunday night and being uploaded to Hulu that monday. well anyway, Hulu, not only brought me upon this show, but many others, and I suggest you try it out sometime.

Anyway, to the task on hand. Defying Gravity is an amazing show that is set in the nearby future and follows a group of astronauts as they travel on a six year mission to go to venus and nearby planets. there is a lot, and i mean A LOT of background info in the show as well, so don't think you're watching 45 mins of outer space. the show back tracks up to 5 years before the mission takes off and shows very a in-depth look at the cast. i would highly suggest that if anyone has time to look it up. unless your already watching it (Right Deign? =P)

I'm outtie, see you later all

It's Kind of a Funny Story

Sorry guys! busy weekend! Blizzcon was this weekend and i rocked it out watching both days. new world of warcraft expansion is coming out. its going to be sweet.

Anyway, as far as my book reviewing is going, this weekend i read a novel by one of my favorite people in the world, Ned Vizzini.

here is a brief discription of the first part of the book.

"Craig, the narrator, is 15, and lives with his family in an upper-middle class Brooklyn neighborhood. He just started attending a very gifted, superior high school, for which he has studied very hard to gain admission. Now he is overwhelmed by the academic pressures there. He has poor appetite, purges his stomach, and sleeps poorly due to stressful nighttime thoughts which he calls "cycling." His best friend has introduced him to smoking marijuana at the friend's home; Craig, who is shy and nerdy and has never dated, is also jealous that this friend has a steady girl. Craig sees counselors and is taking medication, but feels improved and decides to stop medicating, but shortly afterward considers suicide by jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge. " (Wikipedia)

I would suggest this book! 10/10 stars!

Alice in Wonderland

to wrap up my movie week that i have seemed to come upon, we are ending with the preview to a movie that will blow our minds. from the crazy yet lovable Tim Burton comes the remake of Alice in Wonderland from his own perspective. now this made my mouth drop, as i am a huge Burton fan, but in the end what surprised me more was that Johnny Depp was cast as the Mad Hatter.

Seeing Depp in a Burton film is not something new, but rather an ongoing thing between the two. Depp has been in Burtons films such as Edward Scissorhands, Sweeny Tod, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sleepy Hollow. all of which are amazing movies. i highly suggest you see this when it comes out.

watch the preview and be stunned!

Halo Movie? Mr. Steven Spielberg?

so i came across this article, and i figured it was relevant because of the whole world of warcraft movie stuff from the other day. this time is Halo, the X-Box money maker. it seems there is a movie in the works for this as well.

"...and no it's not Jerry Bruckheimer or Peter Jackson. It's the man behind Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones and Transformers, Mr. Steven Spielberg..."

the working title is HALO THE FALL OF REACH, as says the website, but there may be more to this then meets the eye. i would read over the article, as it is lined with jokes and quips.

as far as it goes, i have the regular x-box and wouldn't mind seeing a movie about it, as long as its not just some war movie. i would like to get inside the characters heads and see more emotion then what i see in the game. but either way if i don't see it in theaters, i'll own the DVD or Blue-ray.

well time to bring this to a close... but next time i have an amazing amazing preview to share. i know i am sticking to movies right now, but there are some really good ones coming out. stick around!

"Terrorism. Heretic. Renegade. Freedom. What do all four have in common? Jack. Enter the world of Jack Dapona, an average teen looking to make it who loses faith after his oldest brother dies. The events that follow will change Jack’s life forever. Rosie, the new girl in town who seems to be followed by trouble, is the first change in his life. The landslide then begins and pulls Jack along for the ride of his life. Jack’s adventure involves the local punks, an underground mafia, the crazed anarchists, a man named The Falcon, and the thing that connects them all. In the end Jack must face his own fears and protect a freedom that he originally lost hope for. For Jack, life has become do-or-die."

Sometimes You Need a Good Laugh...

time for my second blog today, lets hope i can
keep up this pace as time goes on. this one is a little less in depth as my last one, but like the title says... sometimes you need a good laugh.

there is a website among the thousands that are online that tops my fan favorite. it is a website that shows the true fail of everyone. failblog.org is that site. it has those quirky pick me up jokes that can turn around anyones day. for me, this is what i saw today that turned around my day. i hope you try out that site and enjoy the same laughs i do.

Sam Raimi to direct Warcraft movie

Over the past few weeks I've been into the whole movie scene. i find myself wrapped up into my television or computer screen glued to the show or movie of the day. with this in mind i was amazed to come across a post on Yahoo about one of my other obsessions, Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft.

The post is about the plan that Sam Raimi will be directing the newly announced World of Warcraft movie that will take place in the realm of Azeroth, the main setting for the online game, the books, and the PC game series as well. when this was announced, the Internets best bloggers and gamers found themselves jumping in their chairs, i was one of those people.

with the joy came the sadness. within a week of this being announced, people suddenly came up with complaints for this. many of them opted that they make more then one movie, three being the average. this was due to the high amount of story that is going to be covered in one movie. many claim that they should make three movies following three story lines that come together in the end, with events intertwining. as of right now i have not come across any plans to have this sort of thing, but gamers everywhere are waiting to hear the release date of this epic movie.

Just to shed some light on Raimi's past and current work i thought i would give a list of his most recent works. Raimi directed "Spider man", along with its predecessors, "Spider man 2", "Spider Man 3", and his current project "Spider Man 4". he also directed the 2009 film "Drag Me to Hell." looking at the directing he did for these movies may give hopeful viewers something to expect from Raimi as he moves forward to direct the upcoming "World of Warcraft" movie.
