As Tight As They Come!

So, quick introduction, I'm back, and its time to relive the blogger life, starting today I will be posting a new blog once a week, this is my goal and I plan to keep it!

Todays story, Nate Holland spread a lot of anger at the olympics this year at fellow snowboarders, why do you ask? Tight pants, what else? Talking with the New York Times he told them "I think the problem we have now is the emo look," and he followed up by saying "and people trying to use that as an excuse for wearing tight clothing."

Now really, how does this become an issue? Canada, the team is question, showed up sporting some tighter then usual pants. Trey Kerby of Yahoo Sports thought of it more of a tactical idea rather then a trend. he stated that "Slimmer pants just make more sense. Sure, there's less drag, but there's also less of a chance of getting caught on another person. And you don't have to worry about all that cumbersome extra fabric getting in the way." and many people seem to agree with him, including me!
What do you all think? Is this so bad that new, modern suits are appearing? Let me know what you think!
Until next week gang,

Later Skater!

  1. I agree! - what's the big deal about "tighter" suits. The worlds constantly changing even if it's something as simple as snowboarding suits... why can't people just accept the change and stop making some huge critical fuss about it?

  2. Yeah, as long as there isn't anything popping out or showing that I don't want to see (Ha ha) then I'm okay with whatever. Though it seems like you might get cold in a skimpy suit!
